A little about me
There is more to the story
than the job titles.
A career across banking, business and entrepreneurship eventually led Devesh to a question he finds more interesting than success itself: what makes people grow, connect and stay resilient?
Devesh Tripathi is a business leader, entrepreneur, speaker and storyteller with more than two decades of experience across banking and financial services. His professional journey has included GE, ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank, Reliance Capital, IndusInd Bank and YES Securities, with work spanning sales leadership, relationship management, market expansion, strategic alliances, product development, team leadership and revenue growth.
In 2022, he moved into a new chapter as Founder and Director of Psykonnect Solutions Pvt. Ltd., designing institution focused programmes for schools, higher education institutions, coaching institutes and corporates. His work today brings emotional resilience, leadership development and life skills into everyday institutional life.
But the professional journey is only one part of the story. Devesh is a keen observer of human behaviour. He enjoys writing, acting, singing, socialising and cricket. His writing draws from real life, relationships and the social fabric of India, often finding humour, emotion and meaning in ordinary moments.

कुछ ध्वनियां कितना आकर्षित करती हैं
कुछ ध्वनियां कितना आकर्षित करती हैं।
अतीत के कोष में न जाने कैसा हर्ष, कैसी शांति संजोए रखती हैं। इनको सुनते ही बालमन जीवित तो होता ही है, एक ऊर्जा सी पूरे शरीर में दौड़ने लगती है।
मुर्गे की बांग, कोयल की कुहू, गौरैया की चूं चूं, कबूतर की गुटर गूं, कौवे की कांव कांव....
और इनके साथ पिताजी का भारी कंठ से कहना, "चलिए पढ़ने बैठिए"!

इक मुकम्मल साथ क्या है
आंखों में नमी, होठों पे मुस्कान
कुछ कदम इश्तेराक से हम चले
ज़मीन जब लगने लगे आसमान
वो तो जज्बातों का बाज़ार होगा
जहां सोचें हम नुकसान या नफ़ा
वो होती है मोहब्बत की इबादतगाह
जहां हमें मिलें खुशियां और वफ़ा
मुस्तकबिल का खयाल छोड़
माज़ी की बेचैनियों से निकलें
अहद ए हाज़िर के हसीन
रहगुज़र में वो हमसफ़र मिले
कुछ कदम इश्तेराक से हम चले
ज़मीन जब लगने लगे आसमान
वो तो जज्बातों का बाज़ार होगा
जहां सोचें हम नुकसान या नफ़ा
वो होती है मोहब्बत की इबादतगाह
जहां हमें मिलें खुशियां और वफ़ा

नमक मात्र अगर हम अपने नखरे
हींग सी खुशबू वाली हंसी हो छिटकी
दांतों में जीरे बराबर जिद हो अटकी
फुदकते चावल सा परोसें चुलबुलापन
संतुलित सब्जियों जैसा डाला हो सम्मान
थोड़ा मछली सा मचलता हुआ मन हो
और थोड़ा पापड़ सा कुरकुरा क्रोध हो
प्याज़ की झांस से निकला कभी झगड़ा हो
थोड़े डिब्बे वाले अचार सी बंद आवाज़ हो
लाल मिर्च की चटनी सी गालों पे लाली हो
ऐसी मस्त हमारी मोहब्बत वाली थाली हो

क्या सोचकर तुमसे मिलने को
अपने कदम बढ़ाए मैंने
ऐसी क्या बात हुई अचानक

क्यूं उड़ीं दिल में तितलियां
तुम्हारे कुछ पलों के उस
रेल से धड़कते इंतजार में
कौन हो तुम!
चलते रहे दोनों अनवरत
अरुणोदय संग वो बातें हुईं,
जो कभी किसी से ना कहीं
कौन हो तुम!
क्या खोज रहे थे जंगलों में
एक नई दुनिया दिखाई तुमने
मुझे लौटने से क्यों रोकना चाहा
कौन हो तुम!
क्या दिखा मुझमें जो बहना चाहे
निर्झर तेरे नयनों से वो आंसू
रोक…
